After Christmas, I'll be embarking on a new mission Mission to Ukraine 7.0. On December 30th, I'll be setting off for Ukraine, a country rich in history, culture, and beauty, now devistated by the violence and death due to Russia's barberic invasion. This trip, we will once again be striving to support the defenders of Ukraine as well as those civialians who suffer so much.
Supporting the Defenders
Once again I will be raising funds to help the volunteer soldiers who defend the city of Kharkiv, 30 miles from the Russian border and te frontline. The volunteer soldiers do not receive all of the equipment that the national military receives so they need to suppliment their equipment by raising money. In the past we have been able to purchase battlefield medical needs such as tourniquets, banadages and chemical warming pads for the winter. The Ukrainian soldiers need our help as they are outnumbered almost 4 to 1 compared to the invadors.
Saving Lives
Authentic military grade tourniquets are not readily available. Too often, soldiers rely on inferior and cheap replica tourniquets, which fail when needed most. Failure on the battlefield costs lives. It is estimated that each soldier carries at least four tourniquets on them at all times, for themselves and their fellow brothers and sisters. Time is of the essense when soldiers are wounded and the availability of military grade tourniquets and bandages saves lives.
We raise money so that we can bring as many CAT Combat Application Gen 7 Tourniquets as possible so we can save the lives of our glorious defenders. We also raise money for medical grade chest compression bandages and other needed battlefield medical needs
